What to expect from rehabilitation
Rehabilitation sessions usually last an hour and involve supervised exercises, either with balls, resistance bands and/or free weights. The sessions can be strenuous, so please come prepared to exercise. The purpose is to return you to normal movement, strengthening weakened area and stretching over-tight ones, and creating in you a better self awareness of what is normal movement. Typical treatment plans involve five to 10 sessions then a review. The overall course of care will depend on your condition.
